In the morning after breakfast we begin the full day sightseeing tour by visiting the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi – the tallest church in Georgia.
From cathedral we move to the old district of Tbilisi. We are going to walk on the Shardeni street and visit Caravanserai (the History museum of Georgia) that has a rich collection of modern exhibits.
Our Tbilisi city tour continues to other attractions of the city center – Sioni cathedral, church built in the 13th c., Erekle II street full of nice outdoor cafes, bars and art galleries, modern glass Bridge of Peace and ancient Narikala fortress, built on the hills in the 4th c., which can be reached by the cable car from Rike Park.
From Narikala we walk down to the old city and visit Jumah mosque, little canyon and waterfall in Legvtakhevi, and continue towards the Sulfur bathhouse district. Tbilisi old city tour finishes at the Maidan square.
As a last activity of the Tbilisi city tour, we drive to the Open Air Museum of Ethnography, which exhibits 14 different ethnographic zones of Georgia: Kartli, Adjara, Imereti, and others.
