You'll spend two nights nestled in the majestic Great Caucasus Mountains and another two nights in the vibrant capital city of Tbilisi. Explore the ancient UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mtskheta, discover Svetitskoveli and Jvari, explore the architectural wonder of Ananuri Complex, witness the beauty of Zhinvali Reservoir, traverse Jvari Pass, and immerse yourself in the mountainous splendor of Khevi.

Embark on a picturesque drive covering a distance of 135 km (2h 45min) today, starting with a delightful breakfast at your hotel.
Set off towards the North, beginning your journey with a captivating visit just 19 km from the capital. Perched atop a hill, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jvari Monastery (6th c.), offers a serene atmosphere amidst the Armazi mountains. Take in the panoramic views of the Aragvi and Mtkvari river valleys.
Continue your drive to Mtskheta, the former capital of the Iberian kingdom in Eastern Georgia. Discover the architectural marvel of the 11th-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, an icOnic symbol of the region. Stroll through the historic district, savor a cup of coffee brewed in the traditional sands, and then proceed along the Georgian Military Highway.
En route, pause at the Zhinvali Reservoir and explore the Ananuri Fortress, a historic site dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. The fortress complex comprises two churches and the residence of the Aragvi Eristavi dukes, offering a glimpse into Georgia's rich heritage. Allow about 30 minutes to absorb the wonders of this place.
As evening falls, arrive at the captivating Gudauri Ski Resort (2196 m asl), where you'll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

Breakfast. Full-day tour to the Great Caucasus Mountains: A trip to the Kazbegi National Park, several stops along the way: a colorful observation deck called the Monument of Peace, Jvari Pass (level 2395 m) - the highest point of the road, a pinkish limestone travertines, deposited around the frozen bubbling mineral water springs, sometimes invisible under thick snow cover.
Arrive in Stepantsminda townlet, the central settlement of Kazbegi municipality. Hike to the snowy Mount Gergeti – (about 3 h round trip).
The Georgian-Russian border Larsi is only fourteen kilometers from Stepantsminda. Follow the road along the Tergi River through the narrow Dariali Gorge to the border. Driali church named after St. Archangels’ Michael and Gabriel is located nearby.
In the evening drive back to Gudauri.
* The above itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions (heavy Snowfall). In which case guests will have a leisure day in Gudauri.

After breakfast, relaxing morning in the hotel. 12:00 check out and return to Tbilisi.
By choice: or free time, relaxing in a comfortable hotel, admiring the panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains.
