Trip starts early in the morning from the hotel and drive to Kakheti province.
First, visit Bodbe monastery located in 2 km from town Signagi. Bodbe monastery is one of the major pilgrimage site in Georgia, because of the 5th century female evangelist St. Nino, whose relics are enshrined there.
Often referred as the city of love, Signagi is an old trading town located on the hills of Gombori mountain range. Cobbled streets and colorful carved balconies with breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley makes it a very charming place to visit.
Have a lunch at the local house. After lunch, leave Signagi, drive to village Tsinandali, and pay a visit to Aleksander Chavchavadze’s residence - a 19th century Kakhetian nobleman, poet and a public figure. At the end of the tour, have a walk in the English-French garden with blooming plants from all over the world and have a wine tasting from local winery.
From Tsinandali, continue to Gremi, take a look at medieval church and fortress from 16th c., and visit Alaverdi Cathedral (11th c.).
In the evening return to Tbilisi.
