Guide will meet you at Kutaisi hotel and start to Racha Region. The narrow-curved road goes along Tskaltsitela river valley. Approximately one and half hour needed to reach Shaori lake and cover 77 km. On the way make short stops in city of mines Tkibuli and Nakerala Pass. On 1500 meters altitude there is St. George shrine Tskhrajvari overlooking Tkibuli and surroundings. To reach the place drive 3 km on a gravel road and the last one-kilometer cover by foot. Continue to Shaori lake. This picturesque artificial reservoir is surrounded by the mountains and woods on the altitude of 1132 m above sea level. Make a photo stop, enjoy the views, and continue to Nikortsminda Cathedral.

Nikortsminda Cathedral, prominent for its stone carving decorations on the facades, is an Orthodox Christian church built in 1010-1014. The Cathedral is in the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Next stop is Ambrolauri, the municipality town of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti region. Lunch will be served at local family.

Drive to the village Tsesi, the beautiful village in Caucasus mountains and visit Barakoni church of Holy mother. This late feudal time church is nested in deciduous forest.

Continue the tour to Terjola, upper Imereti, and visit NavenaKhevi Cave. This is small - 250 meters long in total - karst cave, unique for its beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.

Next continue the trip to- Obcha and visit a small family winery – Baia`s Wine Cellar. Traditional Imeretian dinner with wine will be served here.

In the evening arrive back in Kutaisi.
