Borjomi Museum of Local History
The Museum is situated in the city of Borjomi, on the left bank of the Kura River, in southeast Georgia, historical province of Samtskhe-Javakheti, 160 km away from Tbilisi.
Borjomi Museum of Local History features unique samples of the stone tools of early men, bronze age monuments, different types of weapons, agricultural tools and large numismatic collection dated from 5th century BC to the 10th century AD. Furthermore, the visitors can view personal belongings of members of the House of Romanovs who had their summer residency in this very house in Borjomi, which include European and oriental crockery, armory, paintings and graphic works. In total museum houses up to 36,000 various items.
