Vazisubani Estate

The Vazisubani Estate development seamlessly blends historical charm with modern amenities. Dating back to 1869, the family estate sprawls over 35 hectares and includes the meticulously renovated residence of Georgian nobility, Sulkhan Chavchavadze, now transformed into a boutique hotel boasting 19 rooms, alongside a 140-year-old wine cellar and restaurant.

Situated in the prime micro zones of Mukuzani and Vazisubani in Kakhet, the estate boasts its own vineyards. Guests can indulge in wine tasting experiences within the exquisite cellar, where they can glean insights into winemaking history and secrets from head winemaker Lado Uzunashvili.

The estate produces two esteemed brands: Qvevri wines of Vazisubani Estate and the innovative “Georgian Sun” label, both representing the pinnacle of winemaking excellence.

Embracing traditional methods, the estate specializes in unfiltered dry wines crafted using the ancient qvevri clay vessel technique—a tradition dating back 8,000 years in Georgia.

Complementing the wine experience is the estate's restaurant, which champions a "farm-to-table" ethos, sourcing fresh produce from the estate's garden and offering a culinary journey through Kakhet's traditional dishes. Guests can savor these delights alongside estate wines, served and savored at their table.

The estate's park, spanning 1.5 hectares, boasts majestic hundred-year-old acacia, oak, ash, biota, and other endemic trees, providing a scenic backdrop for leisurely strolls and breathtaking views in every season.
