The museum is a massive, newly built complex in front of the parliament building with a statue of an eagle on its facade, while its interior is designed with stainless steel and glass structures. The museum is designed to promote contemporary Georgian fine arts, it displays a collection of 3,500 artworks by almost 80 Georgian notable artists of the last 70 years. The visitors can also enjoy the Museum Café and the Museum Shop, also the Art House which consists of restaurants, cafes, a lounge, a swimming pool, a fitness club, and a Georgian designers’ boutique.
