Private half-day guided tour of Tbilisi combines sightseeing by car and walking in New & Old historical districts at any time through the day. We visit the main highlights of the left and right river banks, take an areal cable car and walk around two hours in medieval streets. Go ahead and follow us for new discovery!
We come to your hotel on pre-arranged time. The tour begins from your hotel door and continues around Rustaveli avenue, Heroes square, Agmashenebeli avenue, New Tiflis district, Dry bridge and Orbeliani square. We can see the flower market and fragments of old city wall near Baratashvili bridge.
Can you find the old bronze man lighted the lamp near the ruined entrance of citadel? If yes, this means, we are at the entrance of Kala, the inner town! Now turn to the Anchiskhati basilica - one of the oldest building here. Next to it discover falling tower of Gabriadze puppet theater. Look around: two store wooden balcony residential houses with inner yards and cobbled streets gives the feeling you walk on the edge of two cultures, two continents Europe and Asia.
Continue the way to pedestrian glass bridge over the River Mtkvari. Amazing place for taking pictures! Across the bridge, we come to Rike Park and areal cable car. The 5 or 8 seater cabins lift us to the 4th c fortress Narikala, which overlooks the former royal districts. Royal gardens now are turned to National Botanical garden. Pass nearby the Mosque and go through the narrow street towards of the spiral staircase. The route leads to Legvtakhevi – the natural 14 m high waterfall in Tbilisi downtown. Surprise isn’t it?! Yes, the natural waterfall and sulphur smell around makes the area unique. Ottoman’s period bathhouses around the square - Very popular tourist site.
