The concept of the Vazisubani Estate development is based on historical buildings and modern conveniences: since 1869, the family estate has spread over an area of more than 35 hectares, the house of the Georgian nobility Sulkhan Chavchavadze has been transformed into a designed boutique hotel with 19 rooms, a 140-year-old wine cellar and restaurant.
The company owns the vineyards in Kakheti, in the best micro zones of Mukuzani and Vazisubani. In the cellar, host offers an exquisite environment, where you can enjoy wine tasting, listen to sommelier secrets and history of winemaking, chat with Lado Uzunashvili, the head winemaker.
Vazisubani Estate produces two brands: Qvevri wines of Vazisubani Estate and the “Georgian Sun”, which is the new direction for the brand makers.
Vazisubani Estate is presented by the unfiltered dry wines made by qvevri traditional technology. Qvevri is the traditional clay vessel for processing the grape juice. The wine making in qvevri started in Georgia 8 000 years ago and Georgians managed to keep tradition up to present days.
The restaurant is based on “the farm to table” concept, using vegetables and fruits from the Estate garden. We are offered fresh traditional dishes and gastronomic journey around the Kakheti region. The wines of the Estate are served and cupped on your table.
The park around the villa and winery covers 1.5 hectares in total and contains hundred years old acacia, oak, ash -tree, biota and other varieties of endemic trees. Take a stroll and afford wonderful views during all four seasons.

The wine shop offers an original selection of products for the wine enthusiasts, books on wine and special crafted goods that represent the style and character of the estate.
