Wine Yard N1

Wine Yard N1 is a family-style located in the village Akhalsopeli, Kvareli municipality, Kakheti region, in 16 km from town Kvareli. Village Akhalsopeli is located in the micro-zone of Kindzmarauli, and moreover, on the territory of notable medieval historical village Old Gavazi. 6th century church of Dzveli Gavazi is located in less than a kilometer from Wine Yard N1.
The object combines wine, agro, gastro, eco, ethno tourism concepts, and includes three-generations-old wine cellar, house and a yard.

Family invites you to experience traditional Kakhetian way of life, including famous tradition of supra (feast led by the toastmaster – tamada), taste Georgian qvevri wines produced by traditional methods and home-cooked food, as well as get known to local folklore, agricultural traditions etc.

Guests of the Wine Yard N1 are invited to visit our wine cellar that has been used by three generations, pour wine directly from traditional qvevri (Georgian clay vessel for storing and fermenting wine), and enjoy it.

It is also possible to take part in a distillation process of Chacha – traditional Georgian pomace spirit. Furthermore, visitors can participate in seasonal grape harvest event called rtveli (from late September to mid-October). Other activities offered include Churchkhela making, baking bread, cooking masterclasses, horse riding, visiting a trout farm and fishing, a picnic in the valley and other agricultural activities.

Here, guests can relax and rest in hammocks in beautiful garden with a wide variety of flowers, roses and fruit trees. The balcony of the two-storey house offers breathtaking views of the Greater Caucasus Mountain range.
Last and not least, guests will have the opportunity to taste the famous Georgian/Kakhetian cuisine, prepared by using only natural and local products.
