About Attraction

Wine Company & Museum named Twins Wine Cellar is located in the village of Napareuli and was established by twin brothers Gia and Gela Gamtkitsulashvili. The company is oriented on Kakhetian method of wine production and follows family traditions of wine making. Nowadays the cellar has 107 Qvevri (underground clay jars for storing wine) most of which have 3.5 – 4.5 tones capacity. The wine at Twins Wine Cellar is made of Rkatsiteli, Kakhetian Green, Saperavi and Cabernet sorts of grapes harvested from Napareuli micro-zone that gives wine moderate tannins and an original harmonious taste. What is most peculiar about Twins Wines is that it is not processed chemically after natural filtration that makes Twins Wine an ecologically pure product. Visitors of the Cellar have unique opportunity to see open Qvevris and watch the process of wine fermentation and wine-making during the year. Twins Wine “Qvevri’s Mze” has high number of sales in Japanese, Russian, German, English and Chinese markets.
