Ori Marani was founded in 2017 by a French winemaker and his Georgian spouse. Ori Marani translates from Georgian as “two wineries”.
The philosophy of Ori Marani is to gather Georgian and occidental winemaking sensitivities with an authentic approach. All the wines are kept and fermented in traditional qvevri and old French oak barrels, giving a special identity to each cuvees.
Approach of Ori Marani is to let its wines mature by themselves, guiding them through fermentation and aging. Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented on their indigenous yeast preserving terroir identity. Wines of Ori Marani are unfined and unfiltered in order to keep them as authentic and pure as possible.
