Day 1: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Gori – Kutaisi

First two days of the tour are cultural. After breakfast at Tbilisi hotel drive to Mtskheta to visit two UNESCO World heritage sights Jvari monastery 6th c. and Svetitskhoveli 11th.c J. Stalin’s house-museum in Gori and Cave town Uplistsikhe from 1st millenum BC.

Day 2: Kutaisi – Vani – Engurhesi

In Kutaisi visit another two UNESCO World heritage sights monastery complex and academy of Gelati (beginning of 12th c) Drive to Vani where in year 2003 archaeologists discovered unique collection of jewelry and religious artifacts from pagan times.   
Our adventures start by traveling to Engurhesi, the highest (271 m) dam in Europe. The hotel is located beneath the dam in a beautiful picturesque setting.

Day 3: Engurhesi – Mestia

In the morning we will change our transport and drive to Mestia by Russian jeeps, observe picturesque views along the River Enguri. In most cases we wil drive on ground roads among dramatic cliffs and narrow canyons of roaring Enguri River and waterfalls.

Visit little churches in villlages Latali and Lenjeri with excellent 10th-12th cc frescoes.

Day 4: Mestia

Visit Mestia State Museum. with amazing collection of medieval golden and silver icons, monuscripts from 9-10th c and ethnographical implements; You will also look at little churches from 10th c with well preserved unique frescoes inside. After our cultural adventures we will start for an easy, aesthetic stroll into the low alpine pastures and enjoy magnificent views of Mts Ushba and Tetnuldi

Day 5: Mestia – Becho – Guli glacier – Mestia

Drive to little village Becho, and from there walk towards Guli Glacier (5-6 km.)
The route follows the right bank of the river and you may observe magnificent Ushba peak on the south. We will walk on narrow tracks through coniferous and mixed forests.

Day 6: Mestia – Ushguli

Drive to Ushguli (2400 m) – the highest permanently inhabited village in Europe.
You will find yourself in the realm of medieval towers, surrounded by the mountains of Great Caucasus Range, glaciers, high peaks and roaring waterfalls. The way to Ushguli is extremely attractive.You will cross little villages Ipari and Kala, where the spirit of medieval life is too strong..

Day 7: Ushguli – Mestia

After the breakfast start trekking to the foothills of Shkhara Glacier
The walk itself is longish but for the most part flat, running along a wide, mostly treeless valley.
We will have Picnic Lunch in a picturesque nature and return to Mestia in the evening.

Day 8: Mestia – Engurhesi – Zugdidi – Kutaisi

In the morning we will leave Svaneti and drive to Zugdidi – administrative center of Samegrelo region. After lunch in a local restaurant, we will have an excursion at Dadiani Plalace.
Drive to Kutaisi – ancient capital of Georgia and visit UNESCO world heritage site – Bagrati Cathedral from 11th c.

Day 9: Kutaisi – Borjomi

After breakfast travel through Zekari pass – part of Borjomi Kharagauli National Park, through beautiful routes and alpine zones, on the ground roads – special offer for nature lovers.
Pass balneological resorts Sairme and Abastumani, renowned for its wonderful observatory.We will have a barbeque picninc lunch at Zekari pass.
Walk in Borjomi - Kharagauli national park, which is first PAN Park in Caucasus.

Day 10: Borjomi – Vardzia – Borjomi

You will change transport and drive from Borjomi to Vardzia by bus, cave town from 12th c. Visit cave monasteries with beautiful frescoes of 12th c.
On the route you will explore magnificent Khertvisi fortress from 10th c.

Day 11: Borjomi – Gudauri

Start traveling north, to the ski resort Gudauri. On the way, we will visit Ananuri Fortress from 16-17th c, the residence of rival and bloody Aragvi Dukes nearby Jinvali reservoir.
Relaxing evening on the level of 2000 m.

Day 12: Gudauri – Stepantsminda –Truso –Tbilisi
Drive over Jvari (Cross-) Pass (2395m) to the town of Stepantsminda (1700m) – the center of Khevi province.
If we are lucky with weather we will see Mount Kazbek, 5047 m. the third highest and one of the best known peaks in the Caucasus. According to the legend Amirani – Georgian Prometheus – was chained here by Gods.Trekking to Truso canyon, perfectly safe to visit. Nearby numerous mineral springs have laid down carpets of white, yellow, and orange sinter deposits blended with iron oxide to decorate the valley floor. Picnic lunch in the valley
