The rout: 350 km

Day 1

09:00 Departure from Tbilisi.
Pass through Mtskheta - ancient capital of Georgia.
Short excursion at Ananuri Architectural Complex 16th 17th cc. The complex comprises churches, fortification and residential buildings of local Dukes. The purpose of the complex was to guard the Northern routs of the country.
13:00 Lunch at village Pasanauri.
Pass through ski resort Gudauri, drive over Jvari (Cross-) Pass (2395m) and arrive in the town of Stepantsminda (1700 m) - the center of Khevi province.
If we are lucky with weather, we will see Mount Kazbegi (5047 m) According to the legend Amirani - Georgian Prometheus, punished by Gods was chained on the rock here.
Walk towards Dariali canyon.

19:00 Dinner and overnight at hotel in Stepantsminda.

Day 2

09.00 Walk to Gergeti Trinity Church - the most important altar of 14th century, located on the slope of Mount Kazbek. The stone decorations represented on the façade of the church will lead you to the ancient rituals and beliefs.
Visit Stepantsminda Ethnographical Museum to explore interesting materials, founded during the archeological excavations in this region.
13:00 Picnic Lunch.
Explore the Truso Canyon.
18:00 Return to Tbilisi.
