We will explore a picturesque and the most fertile part of Georgia - Kakheti, which borders the Great Caucasus range from the north Alazani Valley. The summits of the range are over 3 000 m. The region is known as a birthplace of viticulture and winemaking. The fertile land, burning sun and hard work have developed about 500 varieties of vine in Georgia. The history, culture and lifestyle of Georgians are embodied in their wine, which is a symbol of the hospitality, friendship, tolerance and a key to the mystery of Georgian longevity.

Tour Schedule:

At 08:00, you will meet with guide and drive towards Kakheti province. On the way, you will visit Signagi - the Royal town, with beautiful 18th century city architecture. Later, there will be an excursion to Gremi fortress, Alaverdi Cathedral and you will enjoy your lunch at the local house in Telavi. After the lunch, you will visit Telavi Ethnographic Museum, Ikalto monastery complex and the residence of the poet and public figure, Kakheti nobleman of the 19th c. Alexandre Chavchavadze in Tsinandali.

Return to Tbilisi around 19:00 - 20:00
