Tour to Wine Region Kakheti Province Tbilisi - Kakheti -Tbilisi (290 km, round trip) We will explore a picturesque and the most fertile part of Georgia - Kakheti, which borders the Great Caucasus range from the north Alazani Valley. The summits of the range are over 3 000 m. The region is known as a birthplace of viticulture and winemaking. Tour Schedule: At 08:00, you will meet with guide and drive towards Kakheti province. On the way, you will visit Signagi - the Royal town, with beautiful 18th century city architecture. Later, there will be an excursion to Gremi fortress, Alaverdi Cathedral and you will enjoy your lunch at the local house in Telavi. After the lunch, you will visit Telavi Ethnographic Museum, Ikalto monastery complex and the residence of the poet and public figure, Kakheti nobleman of the 19th c.
