Round Trip to Azerbaijan - Georgia - Armenia Tour provides traveler with an opportunity to explore three Caucasian countries in 15 days: Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. Day by day itinerary Day 1: Arrival in Baku. Meeting at the airport, accommodation in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Baku. Day 2: Baku city tour. After breakfast excursion to the old city "Icheri sheher". Visiting of the complex of "Shirvanshahs Palace", "Maiden Tower" of 7th-12th cc., the symbol of Baku, it had become a museum, both of them are included into the list of monuments of the world heritage maintained by UNESCO. Visiting of Azerbaijan State Museum of Art. After lunch visiting of Azerbaijan Carpet and national-applied Art Museum, Martyrs' Avenue situated in the highest place of city from there is a wonderful view of city. Then we walk in the Seaside Boulevard. Visiting of Azerbaijan Historical Museum and walking in the Fountain Square. Meals of national cuisine at the restaurant in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Baku. Day 3: Baku - Surakhani - Baku After breakfast - journey to the stone century ("Gobustan" historic-architectural reserve) and visiting of Mud Volcanoes. After lunch excursion to the Temple of fire-worshippers "Ateshgah" of 17th c. in Surakhani, Fortress of 13th c., the Mount with eternal fire. Farewell banquet in Azerbaijan restaurant with national show-program. Dinner and overnight in Baku. Day 4: Baku - Sheki After breakfast - driving to Sheki, north-western part of Azerbaijan. Visit Caravanserai (Sheki khans Palace, 18th c.). Meals of cuisine of Sheki region. Dinner and overnight in Sheki. Day 5: Sheki - Lagodekhi border - Tbilisi Breakfast in hotel and departure towards the Azerbaijan-Georgian border. Meet and transfer from Lagodekhi border. On the way to Tbilisi visit Gareji monastery complex and caves from 6th in semi desert. Picnic lunch near the sight. Then drive to Tbilisi. Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi. Day 6: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Gudauri After breakfast Old Tbilisi sightseeing tour: Metekhi Church 13th c., Narikhala fortress 4th c., sulfur baths, Sioni cathedral 6-13th c., Anchiskhati basilica 6th c. Funicular, After lunch we will visit Georgian history museum. Then we will drive to Mtskheta, capital and religion center of East Georgian kingdom from 4th c. B.C. to 5th c. A.D., visit Jvari monastery 6th c. and Svetitskhoveli cathedral 11th c., included in UNESCO. After we'll drive to Gudauri. Dinner and overnight in Gudauri. Day 7: Gudauri - Stepantsminda - Gudauri After breakfast we'll drive to Stepantsminda, Khevi region center, visit Gergethi Trinity Church 14th c on the top of the mount 2000m above Sea level; ethnographical museum and will walk towards Dariali Canyon. Dinner and overnnight in Gudauri. Day 8: Gudauri - Gori - Kutaisi After breakfast we'll drive to Ananuri fortress of 15th c. which is on our way to Gori, city where Stalin was born; visit Stalin's house-museum. Then we will visit temple town Uplistsikhe. After that we will drive to Kutaisi and see folklor show in the evening. Overnight in Kutaisi. Day 9: Kutaisi - Borjomi - Bakuriani After breakfast we'll visit Bagrati Cathedral of 11th c.and archaeological site, ancient place of king palace, Kutaisi city tour shortly, Gelaty monastery complex 12th. After lunch on Rikoti pass drive via spa-city Borjomi, where we will taste the famous Borjomi mineral waters. Dinner and overnight in Bakuriani. Day 10: Bakuriani - Vardzia - Bavra border - Gyumri We will drive from Bakuriani to Vardzia cave city 12th c. On the way we'll visit Khertvisi fortress. Transfer to Armenia border Bavra. Meeting at the Bavra border. Bavra - Gyumri (70 km) After crossing the border we will move to Gyumri city. Dinner and overnight in Gyumri. Day 11: Gyumri - Amberd - Saghmosavank Monastery -Yerevan After early morning Gyumri city tour, we will move to Yerevan. On the route we will visit Amberd fortress from 10c., then Saghmosavank Monastery (12c.). We will have lunch in Artashat city and straight to Yerevan to Metropol hotel. After a short rest we will have evening city tour, which includes Blue Mosque, Monument Mother of Armenia, panoramic view of the city, the Republic square with its beautiful colorful singing fountains. Dinner with the folk music accompaniment. Dinner and overnight in Yerevan Day 12: Yerevan - Echmiadzin Holly After breakfast we'll visit one of the most fascinating museums in Yerevan - Matenadaran, a unique depository and research institute of ancient manuscripts. Then we will visit Persian Blue Mosque from 1766; Memorial to the victims of Genocide 1915, after lunch we'll will visit one of the most beautiful monuments in Armenia - Echmiadzin, the center of Armenian Apostolic Church, and see St. Echmiadzin Cathedral founded in 301 - one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in Armenia. Continue to Hripsime Church and Zvartnots Temple, both of the 7th century. Dinner and overnight in Yerevan Day 13: Yerevan -Lake Sevan Breakfast in the hotel. After we'll drive straight to Lake Sevan, the much-treasured gem of Armenia. visit the peninsula monastery of 10th century; we'll pass evening with the folk music accompaniment. Dinner and overnight in Sevan. Day 14: Sevan - Sadakhlo- Tbilisi - flight to Baku from TBS Airport From Sevan we'll move to town Deligan, then to Alaverdi city, and visit Haghpat Monastery-spiritual and cultural center of Armenia (the 10-13th centuries), which is included in UNESCO list of the world architectural heritage. Then we'll drive to boarder of Armenia with Georgia - Sadakhlo. From Sadakhlo we'll drive to Tbilisi airport for flight to Baku. Day 15: Departure from Baku Sights to visit: Azerbaijan Baku: old city Icheri sheher, Shirvanshahs Palace, Maiden Tower of 7th-12th cc., both of them are included into the list of monuments of the world heritage maintained by UNESCO.
